Hole One

Not visually one of our strongest holes due to having to protect the houses with fencing. The hole is a dog leg with two bunkers defining the fairway, which has recently been extended. The ideal tee shot is with a mid to long iron playing to the back of the fairway on to the higher ground which brings the green into view and leaves a relatively short iron into a raised target. Allow plenty of club, you may be protected from the prevailing wind and short leaves you a difficult chip up the bank.
